Serenity Chiropractic
Does your dog like to rough and tumble when he plays?
Does your dog go hunting with you or compete?
Does your cat enjoy napping on the couch and giving you the side eye?
Chiropractic can help them continue to live a long, pain free, and healthy life!
Animals, like us, have a spine and a nervous system. The brain communicates with the entire body via the spinal cord and the nerves exiting it. These nerves tell the body what to do. They tell muscles to contract, lungs to breathe, the tummy to digest food, and everything in between! When there are misalignments in the spine, called subluxation, this communication highway is compromised, disrupting the nervous systems ability to function at it's best.

In dogs and cats this oftentimes shows up as:
-
Difficulty Standing Up or Laying Down
-
Difficulty Climbing Stairs
-
Difficulty Jumping
-
Pain
-
Lameness
-
Limping
-
Weakness
-
Negative Changes in Attitude
-
Performance Declines
-
Unexplained Accidents
-
Refusing Tasks they Once Enjoyed
-
No Longer Grooming Their Hind End

A number of things can cause subluxation. Playing rough, regular athletic work, lack of movement, trauma, compensation from an injury, and poor biomechanics are just a few examples. The best way to find out if your pet has subluxations that may be impacting their body's ability to heal and function is for me to feel their spine.
