Serenity Chiropractic
Virtually every animal has a spine and a nervous system. The brain communicates with the entire body via the spinal cord and the nerves exiting it. These nerves tell our body what to do. They tell muscles to contract, lungs to breathe, the tummy to digest food, and everything in between! When there are misalignments in the spine, called subluxation, this communication highway is compromised, disrupting the nervous systems ability to function at it's best.

In animals this oftentimes shows up as:
-
Difficulty Standing Up or Laying Down
-
Difficulty Jumping
-
Difficulty Engage Hindquarters
-
Posture Changes
-
Gait Changes
-
Lameness
-
Weakness
-
Pain
-
Negative Changes in Attitude
-
Reluctance to Perform Tasks they once Easily Performed
-
Unexplained Accidents
-
Decline in Performance
-
and More!

A number of things can cause subluxation. Playing rough, frequent athletic work, frequent riding or performing, riding off balance/off center, consistent work, lack of movement, trauma, previous injury, compensation from a current injury, tripping in fields, and poor biomechanics are just a few examples. The best way for me to find out if your animal has subluxations present is to use my hands and find out!
